Skinks

Going to start a study on skinks (focussing mostly on the blue-tongued skink). These were some warm up sketches. I kind of like the one with the open mouth, but not so much the others. Sure, they look like lizards, but I don't think they look dead on like the skinks quite yet. Cartoony skinks, sure, I'm trying to capture their anatomy and whatnot much better.

They're harder than I imagined! They're kind of like fat snakes with little fat legs. Adorable critters, really, with big, blue tongues.

Will probably incorporate some skinks into the dragon tutorial.
